How You Work
What Makes You Unique
Everyone's box is different, just like how every toy has its own special way of playing. Your box has your favorite colors, your dreams, and even the silly songs you hum in the bath. It’s what makes you, you!
So when someone asks, "What are you?" they’re really asking, "What kind of wonderful, thinking, feeling person are you?"What Are You? is like asking what kind of toy you are, a car, a doll, or maybe a robot.
You are like a special box that holds all your thoughts, feelings, and ideas inside. It’s the part of you that knows how to laugh, cry, imagine, and even solve puzzles.
How You Work
Think of your brain as a super-smart computer. When you see something fun, like a rainbow or a puppy, your brain sends messages to your body, telling it what to do. That’s why you can run, jump, or smile when you’re happy.
Examples
- A child asks, 'What are you?' and learns that being human means constantly changing.
- A person wonders if they're just a collection of thoughts and feelings.
- A dog might not know what it is, but it knows it's happy.
