How Fog Forms
Imagine it's early morning, and the air is cool. If you take a warm cup of cocoa outside, the steam from your drink might look a little like fog, that’s because fog happens when the air near the ground gets just as chilly as the clouds in the sky. The tiny drops of water or ice that make up fog are so small they float right above your feet, making everything look hazy and mysterious.
Fog Is Like a Blanket You Can Walk Through
Think about walking into a big cloud, it would feel like you're stepping into a fluffy pillow! That’s what fog is like. It wraps around trees, streets, and even your face when you go outside. Sometimes it makes everything look far away, like you’re peering through a soft, wet blanket that covers the whole world.
Fog is a quiet, sleepy friend that comes to visit in the morning, just like how your blanket makes you feel cozy before you fall asleep.
