Why Don't We Get Sick More Often? | Dr. William Li?

Our bodies have superheroes inside them that help us stay healthy and not get sick all the time.

Imagine your body is like a house, and every time something bad tries to come in, like a virus or bacteria, it’s like a thief trying to break in. But your body has guards who stop these thieves before they can cause trouble. These guards are called white blood cells, and they're really good at fighting off the bad guys.

How Our Body Keeps Us Safe

Your body is always working hard, even when you’re asleep. It's like having a 24-hour security team that’s ready to fight whenever something tries to make you sick. Sometimes the thieves are strong, but your guards are stronger, that's why you don’t get sick more often.

Also, every time you fight off a sickness, your body gets smarter. It's like practicing for a test, the more you practice, the easier it becomes. That’s how your immune system gets better with each battle!

So even though there are lots of germs around, your body has all the tools it needs to stay healthy and happy.
