Some AI images look funny because the AI makes mistakes when it tries to draw things.
Imagine you're playing a game where you have to copy a picture from memory, but your friend keeps giving you tricky clues, like saying "it has 10 fingers" even though the person in the picture only has 5. That would make it hard for you to draw the right picture!
The AI is like that kid who's trying to remember and draw a picture all at once, but sometimes it gets confused by the clues it’s given.
How the AI learns
When the AI learns, it sees lots of pictures, like how humans look. But if some of those pictures are wrong or strange (like people with extra fingers), the AI might think that's normal and try to draw that too!
So when the AI tries to make a new picture, it could mix up what it saw before and add things that aren’t there, like an extra finger or a wonky face.
That’s why sometimes AI pictures look funny, they’re just doing their best with the clues they got!
