Emotional Overload is when someone feels too many feelings at once, and it’s like their brain can’t handle all of them.
Imagine you're playing with your favorite toys, maybe a big, colorful building set or a fast, noisy toy car. You’re having so much fun, but then suddenly, your friend comes over and wants to play too. Now you have two things going on: you want to keep playing your way, but you also want to share with your friend. That’s like Emotional Overload, it's when too many feelings or situations happen at once, and your brain feels confused or overwhelmed.
What It Feels Like
Sometimes, Emotional Overload is like being in a really loud room where everyone is talking at the same time. You can’t hear anything clearly because there are so many sounds. Your brain feels busy trying to figure out what’s going on, and that makes you feel tired or even upset.
It's not something bad, it just means your brain needs a little break to sort everything out again!
