What is strength?

Strength is how much force you can use without getting tired or breaking something.

Imagine you're playing with building blocks. If you push them gently, they stay up. But if you push really hard, like when you’re trying to knock them all down, that’s using strength!

What Makes Something Strong?

Think about your favorite toy car. When it goes fast on the floor, it's easy to stop. But if it goes fast on a ramp, it takes more force to slow it down. That’s because gravity is helping it go faster.

Now think of your arms like that toy car. When you lift something light, like a book, it's easy. But when you lift something heavy, like a backpack full of toys, you need more strength, just like the car needs more force to stop on a ramp!

How You Get Stronger

Every time you do something hard, like climbing stairs or lifting your brother, you're practicing strength. Your body gets better at using force, so next time it'll be easier!
