What Salmon Looks Like
What Salmon Do
Salmon are very active. They swim in rivers and oceans, and sometimes they travel hundreds of miles to go back to where they were born. It’s kind of like when you walk from school all the way home, but for a salmon, it's in water!
They also eat tiny creatures in the water, like little bugs or other small fish. And when they grow up, they become parents too, laying eggs in the river so new baby salmon can be born.
So next time you see salmon on your plate, remember: they're not just food, they’re clever swimmers with a big adventure!
