What is Orientation?

Orientation is like knowing which way you're facing when you play hide and seek.

Imagine you’re in a room full of toys. You close your eyes, someone moves you to another spot, and then you open them again. Orientation helps you figure out where you are now, whether you’re still by the big teddy bear or if you’ve been moved to near the toy train.

Like a Compass in Your Head

Think of orientation like having a little compass inside your head. When you walk, turn, or even just sit up, that compass helps you know which way is up, which way is left, and which way is right. It’s how you know if you’re facing the door or the window when you're playing with blocks.

Why It Matters

Without orientation, it would be hard to ride a bike, catch a ball, or even find your way back home from the park. It's like having a map inside your brain that helps you stay on track, no matter where you go!
