Like a Big Time of Dinosaurs
Imagine if all your favorite toys came to life and started running around, some eating leaves, some eating other toys. That’s kind of what happened during the Mesozoic. It's called the "Age of Dinosaurs" because dinosaurs were everywhere, on land, in the air, even in the water! Some were tiny, like a chicken, and some were super big, like a house!
A Time for Change
The Mesozoic lasted for about 180 million years. That’s longer than your whole family has been alive together! During that time, Earth changed a lot, mountains formed, new oceans appeared, and eventually, the dinosaurs didn’t make it anymore. But that's another story!
So, remember: the Mesozoic is like a really long, fun party with dinosaurs as the main guests, and Earth was the host!
