What Lips Look Like
Your lips are like a smooth, pink balloon that lives right outside your mouth. Just like how you can press your fingers together to make a shape, your lips move to say words, like "moo" or "bunny." They're also the part of your face that gets kissy when someone says “I love you.”
What Lips Do
When you eat ice cream, your lips help you bring it to your mouth. When you laugh or smile, they go up like a little smiley face. Your lips are kind of like the doorway to your mouth, everything that goes in or comes out has to pass through them.
How Lips Feel
Your lips feel soft and squishy, just like a marshmallow. If you touch them with your fingers, they move easily, almost like little sliders on your face. And when it's cold outside, your lips can get all tingly, just like your nose!
Lips are fun to use, and they're always working hard, even if you don’t notice!
