Intrinsic means something that is inside and always there, no matter what happens around it.
Imagine you have a favorite toy, let's say it’s a red ball. No matter where you roll it, whether it goes under the couch or up to the top of the stairs, it stays red. That color is intrinsic, it doesn’t change just because the ball moves somewhere else.
What makes something intrinsic?
Let’s take your favorite snack, maybe chocolate chips. If you put them in a cookie, they stay chocolatey. Even if the cookie is soft or crunchy, those chips are still chocolate. That's intrinsic too, it's what stays the same even when things change around it.
Think about your best friend. Even if they wear different clothes every day, or laugh at different jokes, they’re still your best friend. What makes them who they are is intrinsic, it’s inside them and doesn’t go away just because their shirt changes.
