What is immortality?

Immortality is when someone can live forever, never getting old or dying.

Imagine you have a favorite toy that never breaks, no matter how many times you drop it, shake it, or throw it across the room. That’s kind of like being immortal. You’re always there, always playing, always having fun.

Most people are like regular superheroes who have to take naps and eat snacks. They get tired, they get old, and one day, poof!, they're gone. But if you’re immortal, you never need to take that timeout. You keep going, playing, learning, and growing forever.

You might know that trees don’t die when they grow old, but people do! If you were a tree, you could just keep standing there, watching the world change around you for hundreds of years. That’s what being immortal is like: you're always there, even if everything else changes.
