What Makes Something Fake?
- It looks like something else, but it's not.
- It might feel or act differently than the real version.
Think of a plastic toy car. It looks like a real car you can drive, but it doesn’t go anywhere, that’s fake too!
How We Know Something Is Fake
Sometimes you can tell just by looking, sometimes you need to try it out. Like when you get a "giant candy bar" that’s really just a small piece of chocolate wrapped in shiny paper, that is fake, and it's fun to find out!
So, fake means pretend, or not real, but still trying to trick you into thinking it is.Fake is something that looks real but isn’t, it’s like a pretend version of something you know.
Imagine you have a red apple in your hand. That’s real. Now, if someone gives you another "apple" that looks just like the real one, but when you bite into it, it tastes like cardboard, that’s fake!
