A captain is someone who leads a team or group, just like how a parent leads you and your brothers and sisters during a game.
Like the Leader of a Team
Just Like a Teacher or a Coach
A captain can also be like your teacher or coach. They give instructions, cheer you on when things get tough, and sometimes even step in to solve problems. If someone is being too loud during the game, the captain might say, "Let’s all take turns talking so everyone can hear."
Being a captain means you're ready to lead, listen, and help your team win, just like you do when you’re playing with your best friends!
Examples
- Imagine being in charge of a big boat and making all the important decisions while sailing across the ocean.
- If you're on a pirate ship, the captain is the one who leads the crew and plans the next adventure.
