What is bite?

A bite is when you use your teeth to take a piece out of something you’re eating.

Imagine you have a big, juicy apple in your hand. When you open your mouth and press your teeth into the apple, you're giving it a bite, like taking a little chunk from the middle so you can taste it. It’s how we start enjoying our food!

How Bites Work

Your mouth has teeth, which are strong, pointy things that help you chew. When you take a bite, your teeth press down on the food, breaking it into smaller pieces. This makes it easier to swallow and digest, kind of like how you break up a big puzzle into little pieces so you can solve it faster.

You don’t need special powers or tools for this; just your mouth and some fun food!
