"10 to thousands" means turning small numbers into really big numbers, like growing a tiny seed into a giant tree.
Imagine you have 10 pennies in your hand, that’s just enough for a little snack. But if you had thousands of pennies, that would be like having a mountain of coins! So, going from 10 to thousands is like growing from a tiny seed into a big tree.
How it works
- You start with 10.
- Then you multiply by 10 again and again, like counting how many steps you take in a long walk.
- After doing this three more times, you get to 10,000, that’s thousands!
It's kind of like stacking blocks. If you have 10 blocks on the floor, that’s not much. But if you stack them into groups of 10, and then groups of those groups, soon you're building a tower with thousands of blocks!
