Or a Bouncing Ball
Now imagine a bouncy ball. You drop it on the floor, and instead of just sitting there, it jumps up again. That’s because the floor pushed it back, it reflects back!
So whenever something comes to a surface and goes back, that's what reflects back means, like light in a mirror or a ball bouncing on the ground!
