"Layer after layer means adding something one on top of another, just like stacking blocks."
Imagine you're building a tower with your favorite blocks. You put one block down, that’s the first layer. Then you add another block on top of it, that's the second layer. You keep going, putting more blocks on top, and each time, you’re adding a new layer.
Like an onion
Think about an onion! An onion is made up of many thin layers. Each layer is like a circle around the center. When you peel back one layer, there's another one underneath, just like stacking blocks. You can keep peeling until you get to the very middle.
So when we say "layer after layer," it’s like building something step by step, or taking something apart piece by piece, just like stacking blocks or peeling an onion!
