Like a Clean Playground
Imagine you're playing on a playground, and it gets really messy, there are sticky snacks, puddles of juice, and no one cleans up. That's what happens when bacteria get a chance to grow: they multiply like crazy, just like kids after snack time.
But if someone comes along with a big broom and sweeps everything away, the mess goes down, that’s like how cleaning helps keep bacteria away. It gets rid of the food and stuff bacteria need to live and grow.
The Bacteria Version of "No Snacks"
Think about your lunchbox. If you leave it open all day, crumbs fall out, and ants come crawling in. That's what happens when bacteria get into things like your hands or your food, they eat the leftovers and make you feel yucky.
But if you close your lunchbox tight, the germs can't get in, just like how cleaning helps keep bacteria away by stopping them from finding a place to live.
