What are towns?

A town is like a big neighborhood where lots of people live and work together.

Imagine you have a toy box full of different toys, some are small, some are big, and they all fit together nicely. A town is kind of like that toy box but for real life. It has houses (like your bedroom), streets (like the paths you walk on to get from one place to another), shops (where you buy candy or stickers), and maybe even a park (where you play with your friends).

What makes a town special

A town isn’t just buildings, it’s also people. There are teachers, doctors, bakers, and even firefighters who help keep everything running smoothly. Just like how your family has different jobs to make sure everyone is happy, a town has many people with different jobs working together.

Sometimes towns grow bigger when more people move in, just like when you get more toys in your toy box. And sometimes they stay the same, cozy and familiar, like your favorite blanket.
