What are physical properties?

Physical properties are features you can see or feel when you touch something, like how heavy it is or what color it has.

Imagine you have two blocks on your table: one is a red brick, and the other is a blue sponge. Just by looking at them or touching them, you can tell they're different. That’s because they have different physical properties.

What You Can See

Some physical properties are about how something looks. Like color, which tells you what light reflects off it, just like how your favorite crayon has a certain color when you draw with it. Or shape, like whether something is round or square, like a ball versus a cube.

What You Can Feel

Other physical properties are about how something feels. For example, hardness, like how a rock feels tough under your finger, while a balloon feels soft and squishy. There's also weight, which tells you if something is heavy or light in your hand, just like how your backpack feels when it’s full versus empty.

So, physical properties are all the things about an object that you can see or feel, no magic needed!
