Opportunities are chances to do something cool or get something good.
Imagine you have a bag full of candies, and someone says, "You can pick one candy from this bag." That's an opportunity, it’s your chance to get a sweet treat! Now, if the bag has your favorite candy, that opportunity is even better.
What Makes an Opportunity Special?
Sometimes, opportunities come when you least expect them. Like when your friend says, "Hey, want to go play at the park?" That's an opportunity to have fun and maybe catch a ball or ride a swing, just like getting extra candy!
Other times, opportunities are things you can work for. If you practice your drawing every day, you might get picked to draw on the classroom wall. That’s an opportunity that came because you tried hard, like earning a gold star in your notebook!
