Number of sellers is how many people or businesses are selling something in a place.
Imagine you're at a big market, like a fair where everyone is selling toys, candy, and games. If there are only two kids selling lemonade, that means the number of sellers is 2. But if there are ten stands with different foods, drinks, and even balloons, then the number of sellers is 10.
What does it mean?
- More sellers mean more choices for buyers, like having many flavors of ice cream to pick from.
- Fewer sellers might mean you have to go somewhere else if your favorite stand isn’t there.
It’s just counting how many people are selling something in one place. That's all!
Examples
- A town with only one bakery has no choice but to buy its bread there.
