What are military conquests?

Military conquests are when one group takes over another group by fighting and winning.

Imagine you're playing a game of tag at the park. You're it, and you run after your friend to tag them. If they get tagged, they become "it" too, and now there are more people chasing others. That’s like how military conquests work: one group (like the person who is "it") fights another group (like your friend) until they win, and then they take control of that group.

Think of it like a big playground fight. One class wants to take over the swing set from another class. They line up in two teams, one team tries to push the other off the swings or grab them by the shirt. The team that wins gets to use the swings and maybe even boss the other team around for a while.

That’s how military conquests happen, one group fights another, and if they win, they take over the place where the other group was living or fighting from. They might even make the other group do what they say!
