What are frontline soldiers?

Frontline soldiers are the first people to face the enemy in a battle.

Imagine you're playing a game of tag at recess, the person who runs right up to you to tackle you is like a frontline soldier. They’re the ones who go head-to-head with the other team, trying to win the game for everyone else.

Like the First Line of Defense

Think of a castle being attacked by knights. The soldiers standing at the front of the wall are the frontline soldiers, they're the first to fight, so the others inside can stay safe and help from behind.

These soldiers might carry shields, swords, or even guns. They’re like the strongest players on a team, ready to take the hit so their friends don’t have to.

Sometimes, they’re the ones who shout the loudest, cheer the most, and give everyone else the courage to keep going, just like the person who starts a game of tag and gets everyone excited!
