How Locks Work
A real lock is like a toy box with a special key. When you put the right key into the lock, it turns and opens the door, just like when you say "open sesame!" If someone tries to get in without the right key, they can’t open the door.

We use locks so only people we want can get into places like our homes or rooms. It’s like having a secret club, if you have the special key, you're in! If not, you’re out. That way, your toys (or your candy) stay safe and sound.
