Governors are like bosses who help run different parts of a country.
Imagine you have a big toy box that holds all your toys, cars, blocks, and dolls. Now, think of the whole country as a giant toy box. Governors are like the bosses of smaller sections inside the toy box, maybe one boss for the block area, another for the car area, and so on. They help make sure everything in their section works well.
How governors work
Each governor is in charge of a state or region, just like you might be in charge of your favorite toys. They can make rules, decide how money is used, and even choose who will be their helper, kind of like picking someone to be the assistant when you're busy playing with all your cars.
Governors don’t have to ask permission from everyone else to do their job. They get to make decisions for their part of the country, just like you can decide how to play without asking your brother or sister.
Examples
- Governors can pass laws and work with the state legislature to make changes.
- They also manage the state's budget and help during emergencies.
