External pressures are things that push or pull on you from outside, just like when someone pushes you on a swing.
Imagine you're playing with your favorite toy car. Now, suppose a big kid comes and starts pushing it from behind, that’s external pressure! It makes the car go faster because something outside is helping it move.
Like Being Pushed on a Swing
When you’re on a swing, someone pushing you gives you energy to go higher. That push is an external pressure. Without it, you’d just sway back and forth slowly. But with that extra help, you can zoom up really high, like flying!
Or Like a Bubbles Blowing
Think about blowing bubbles. When you blow into the bubble wand, you're giving it air from outside, that’s also external pressure. The more you blow, the bigger the bubble gets.
External pressures are just things from outside that help or make something move, like pushes on swings or air in bubbles!
Examples
- A tree falling because of strong wind (a form of external pressure).
- A fish being pushed by the current in a river.
- A person feeling stressed at work due to tight deadlines.
