What are cyclical patterns?

Cyclical patterns are things that repeat over and over again, just like your favorite song plays on a loop.

Imagine you're bouncing a ball. It goes up, comes down, goes up, comes down, that's a cyclical pattern! The ball doesn’t stop; it keeps doing the same thing every time.

Like a Day at the Park

Think about your day on a Saturday: you wake up, eat breakfast, play outside, take a nap, and then go to bed. Then the next Saturday happens, the same things, in the same order! That’s also a cyclical pattern, just like how seasons change or how your favorite cartoon comes on TV every day.

A Bigger Cycle

Some patterns take longer to repeat, like the seasons. Spring, summer, fall, winter, and then it all starts again. It's like having four different flavors of ice cream, and you get to try them one after another, over and over!

So whether it’s a bouncing ball or the changing seasons, cyclical patterns are all about things that repeat in a regular way, just like your favorite routine!
