What are baltic states?

The Baltic States are three countries that sit next to each other like friends holding hands near the top of Europe.

Imagine you have a toy box with three favorite toys, Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia. These are the Baltic States, and they're all close neighbors who share some history and culture. They’re not too far from big cities like Berlin or Moscow, just like your toy box might be near your bedroom.

Like a Group of Close Friends

Think about how you and your friends have inside jokes and traditions only you understand, that’s what the Baltic States are like with each other. They’ve been sharing stories, food, and even music for many years. Just like when you and your friends decide to build a treehouse together.

A Little Bit of History

Long ago, these countries were ruled by others, kind of like how sometimes your teacher takes charge during recess. But now they're all independent, which means they make their own rules, just like you and your friends can decide what game to play next.
