How Wind Turbines Work
Think of them as wind-powered generators. When the wind blows, it turns the big blades on top, which spin around and make electricity inside the turbine, just like how your bike wheel spins when you pedal, and that helps you go faster.
Are They Bad?
Sometimes they can be a bit noisy or make birds fly in different paths, but most of the time, they’re pretty friendly. Like your neighbor’s radio, it can be a little loud sometimes, but you still like it because it plays music you enjoy.
Wind turbines are like really big fans that work all day and night to give us power, without needing batteries or gasoline, just wind!
