How It Affects Crowd Control
Imagine a hallway full of kids all going to recess. If everyone is just walking normally, they can pass each other easily, like cars on a road. But if some kids are texting while walking, it's like having a few slow-moving trucks in the middle of traffic. They might stop suddenly or change direction without warning.
That’s how crowd control works when people are walking and texting. If too many people are distracted by their phones, they can’t move smoothly through crowds. This causes little bumps and blocks, just like when a toy train gets stuck behind another train on the track. It might even cause a small traffic jam in the hallway!
Examples
- Kids in a park walk while texting, bumping into each other like a game of tag.
- At a train station, people walking while texting cause small bottlenecks near the entrance.
