What are walking mechanics?

Walking mechanics is how your body moves when you take steps, just like a toy car rolls on wheels.

Your legs are like springs and levers, working together to help you move. When you walk, one leg pushes off the ground while the other swings forward, it’s kind of like jumping rope, but with both feet!

How Your Body Moves

  • Your muscles and bones act like a team: your hips twist, your knees bend, and your ankles roll, all to help you take each step smoothly.
  • Your balance is like riding a bike: when you walk, your body shifts side to side, just like how you lean on a bike to keep from falling.

Why It Matters

Think of walking as a dance. Each part of your body has its role: your legs move, your feet push and grip the ground, and your body stays steady so you don’t trip over your own feet!

It’s all about working together, just like when you build with blocks or play tag!
