How Does Understanding Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality Work?

Virtual reality and augmented reality are like stepping into or adding to your favorite toy box, but with special glasses that make things come alive.

Virtual reality is when you put on a pair of magical-looking goggles, and suddenly you're not in your room anymore. You're inside a virtual world, like a giant video game where everything around you moves and changes as if it's real.
