How Does Understanding Lucid Dreaming | Antonio Zadra | TEDxMarinSalon Work?

Imagine you're playing with your toys and suddenly you realize you’re inside the toy world, that's what lucid dreaming feels like.

In this talk by Antonio Zadra, he explains how people can learn to realize they're dreaming while it’s happening, just like when you're playing with your toys and you know you're in a game, not just pretending.

Like Being the Boss of Your Dreams

When you’re asleep, your brain makes up stories. In a normal dream, you don’t know it's fake, it feels real. But in lucid dreaming, you know you're dreaming, like knowing that your toy car is actually moving on its own because you made it go.

Sometimes, people can even control their dreams, like being the boss of the toy world and deciding what happens next. Antonio Zadra shows how we can train our brains to do this by practicing when we’re awake, just like learning a new game.

Why It Matters

Learning about lucid dreaming helps us understand more about sleep and our minds, it’s like learning how your brain plays games while you're resting. And that's pretty cool!
