How Do You Actually Build a Robot?

Building a robot is like building a toy car, but with more parts. You start by figuring out what the robot needs to do, maybe it has to move or pick things up. Then you choose pieces: wheels for movement, lights and sensors so it can see or feel things around it, and a brain (like a small computer) that tells everything what to do. You put them all together, connect wires like strings in a puzzle, and then test it out by making it move, just like playing with a toy car but even cooler!
