Sometimes when there are a lot of people around, like in a big store or at the mall, your brain might think you're in danger. This makes you feel nervous or scared, kind of like when you’re hiding from a monster and see it coming toward you.
Examples
- A child feels scared when the playground becomes too full.
- A person freezes while walking through a busy subway station.
- A student gets a stomachache before entering a packed auditorium.
