Some people are better at remembering because their brains work like super-organised libraries. Imagine your brain is a big library, and each memory is a book. If the librarian is really good at filing things away in the right place, it's easier to find them later. Some brains have extra help with organization, that’s why they remember more!
Examples
- A child remembers all the names of her classmates because she pictures each name next to a friend’s face.
- A boy learns his multiplication tables by singing them like a song.
- A girl remembers where she left her keys because she imagines walking from her room to the kitchen.
