People started talking to each other like friends. A long time ago, humans didn’t have words yet, they just made sounds and gestures. But when people wanted to share more than just food or ideas, they needed better ways to communicate. That’s how the first languages began! Over many years, these simple sounds turned into full-on languages we still use today.
