You can't remember your dreams because they're like stories you read while falling asleep, you forget them before you wake up.
Dreams are like little movies that play in your head when you sleep. But just like how you might not remember the ending of a book after you finish it, you often don’t remember your dreams once you’re awake.
Why You Forget Dreams
- Your brain is busy, When you wake up, your brain is like a messy room that needs tidying. It has to get back to work, so it doesn't have time to keep the dream in your memory.
- Dreams are soft and fuzzy, Like whispering secrets that fade away quickly, dreams don’t always stick around. They’re not as loud or clear as real-life events.
- You might not notice them, Sometimes dreams are like shadows passing by, you're not paying attention to them when they happen.
How To Remember Dreams
- Wake up slowly, If you wake up gently, your brain has time to say goodbye to the dream before it vanishes.
- Write it down, Try telling yourself, "I want to remember my dreams!" and write them in a notebook. It's like leaving a note for your brain so it doesn’t forget.
With practice, you’ll be able to remember more of those little movies your brain plays while you sleep!
