Why Foolish People Stay in Power
Imagine you're playing with blocks. Your friend is very clumsy, they knock over stacks of blocks every time, and everyone laughs at them. But your friend also has a loud voice and loves to shout "I'm the best block builder!" all the time. Everyone else gets tired of laughing and just decides to let your friend be in charge of the block game.
That's like what happens with some leaders, they might not know what they're doing, but they're good at being loud or good at making people believe they are smart. So even though they’re not really clever, people still listen to them and let them stay in power. It’s like having a messy room full of toys, everyone knows it's messy, but no one wants to clean it up because it takes too much effort.
How This Works in Real Life
Sometimes the people who are actually smart are quiet or don’t shout as much. So they get ignored, while the loud and foolish ones stay on top, just like how sometimes the kid who is actually good at hide-and-seek stays hidden, but the one who shouts the loudest gets picked first.
