Why tempered glass randomly explodes?

Tempered glass sometimes explodes because it has tiny cracks inside that we can't see.

Imagine you're eating a big bowl of cereal in the morning, and your favorite bowl suddenly breaks into pieces, poof! That's kind of like what happens to tempered glass. It’s made strong by being heated up really fast and then cooled down quickly, which gives it extra strength. But during this process, little cracks form inside the glass.

Now think about when you're playing with your toys and you drop one, sometimes it breaks because there's already a small crack that you didn't notice. That’s what happens to tempered glass too. When something happens, like it gets hot or cold suddenly, those tiny cracks can spread quickly, causing the glass to break all at once, almost like it exploded.

Sometimes it’s just the random luck of where those little cracks are hiding inside, like a surprise in your cereal bowl!
