I’m scared of spiders because they can hide and startle me when I least expect it.
Imagine you’re playing with your favorite toy in the corner of the room, and suddenly, a little creature drops down from the ceiling, poof!, right in front of you. That’s what happens when a spider appears out of nowhere! It feels like someone jumped on your back while you were concentrating on something fun.
Spiders Are Like Invisible Friends
Spiders can hide really well, just like how your blanket hides under the bed. They hang from strings or live in corners, and sometimes they’re so small that you don’t notice them until they pop out, boop!, right when you’re about to take a big bite of your snack.
Spiders Can Be Scary When They Startle You
When spiders startle you, it’s like being surprised by a loud noise in the middle of your favorite movie. Your heart goes thump-thump, and you might even jump up and yell, “Whoa!” That’s how I feel when I see a spider, it’s not because it’s trying to hurt me, but because it catches me off guard.
Sometimes, after that surprise, I laugh and say, “That wasn’t so bad!” But until then, spiders can be pretty scary.
