Why Don't More People Eat Bugs?

People don’t eat bugs as much because bugs look different from the food we usually eat, like apples or pizza.

Imagine you're at a party, and instead of getting juice boxes, you get little green guys that hop around. That might seem strange! Bugs are small and sometimes move in ways that make them harder to catch and eat.

Also, bugs can taste different from the food we know. Some bugs taste like nuts or chocolate, which sounds fun! But if something looks weird and tastes new, it’s easier to say "no thanks" than to try it.

Another reason is habits, people grow up eating certain foods, so they keep eating those same things. It's like how you might always choose your favorite flavor of ice cream instead of trying a new one.

But some people do eat bugs! In parts of the world, crickets are like tiny snacks that give you energy, and ants can be like little cookies. So while not everyone eats bugs yet, more people could if they gave them a try, just like how you might start liking a new flavor of ice cream once you taste it!
