Why does battery wear out faster?

Battery wear out faster when it’s used too much or not taken care of, like a toy that gets played with all day and never gets a rest.

Imagine your battery is like a lunchbox, every time you use your phone or tablet, it's like taking a snack from the lunchbox. The more snacks you take, the less food is left inside. Over time, the lunchbox can’t hold as much food anymore, and soon it’s empty.

Now imagine that every time you charge your battery, it’s like putting new food into the lunchbox. But if you charge it too quickly or leave it charging all night, it's like stuffing the lunchbox with way more food than it can handle, sometimes even making it leak or break!

Also, when the battery is very full or very empty, it gets tired faster, just like how a kid who runs around all day and doesn’t nap gets extra tired at bedtime.

So if you use your device a lot and don’t let it rest or charge it nicely, its battery will get worn out quicker, just like a lunchbox that gets overfilled or emptied too often.
