The Simple Difference
A password is like a secret code that only the right person knows. A key is a physical object that fits into a lock. Today, we mostly use passwords because they're quicker to type than finding the right key in our pockets or bags.
Examples
- A person keeps getting locked out of their account because they forgot the password but still have their keycard.
