Why Do We Tell Time in Different Ways Around the World?

Time is like a language, it changes depending on where you are. Some people use 12-hour clocks with AM and PM, while others use 24-hour clocks, counting from 0 to 23. Countries choose their own ways of telling time based on how they live and work.

Why 12-Hour or 24-Hour?

In some places, people only needed 12 hours because that was enough for the day and night. But in other places, like France, people use a full 24-hour clock from midnight to midnight, making it easier to tell what time it is without thinking about AM or PM.

Examples
