The Earth goes around the sun, and it’s tilted. Imagine the Earth is like a spinning top, it doesn’t stand straight up when it moves around the sun. One side gets more sunlight in summer, and less in winter. That’s why we have seasons! It’s like having a warm blanket on one side and being cold on the other.
Examples
- If you tilt your head toward a lamp, it feels brighter; that’s how summer feels for half the world.
