Why Do We Elect People Who Don’t Know What They’re Doing?

Sometimes, people vote for leaders who don’t seem ready. It's like picking a kid to be the captain of a team even though they don't know the rules of the game. But why would we do that? Maybe because they look fun or exciting, or maybe because others say they're great, and we believe them.
