Sometimes, people vote for leaders who don’t seem ready. It's like picking a kid to be the captain of a team even though they don't know the rules of the game. But why would we do that? Maybe because they look fun or exciting, or maybe because others say they're great, and we believe them.
Examples
- A boy runs for class president even though he doesn’t know the rules of the game.
- A famous singer announces they’re running for mayor, even though they’ve never worked in government.
- A kid votes for a candidate who promises to bring candy to school, and forgets about math tests.
