Why Do Volcanoes Sometimes Erupt in Pairs?

Imagine two kids who always play together, they like to have big, loud adventures at the same time. Sometimes volcanoes are like these kids: when one starts erupting, it can wake up its friend next door and make them erupt too! This happens because the ground beneath them is connected by magma tubes, like underground highways for hot lava.
